He was also behind the company’s new technical service training provision and its pioneering, 24/7 on-line technical platform, TekniWiki. Digitalisation has been another of Loy’s focus areas including, amongst others, establishing a fully integrated, widely followed social media programme.

Damien Germès, Senior Vice President EMEA and EMEA Supervisory Board member at NGK SPARK PLUG EUROPE, welcomed Loy’s proven capabilities. “David’s successes and business acumen make him the natural choice for this vital role. In the past five years he has led some of the most exciting developments our company has seen. His vision has directly influenced our financial growth, made our communications more future-facing, and firmly established our brands in new markets. I am delighted that he has agreed to build on that even further as Vice President with overall responsibility for our Aftermarket business in EMEA.”
