New precious metal spark plugs expand the range for the aftermarket and increase vehicle coverage

DILKAR8R9HS and DILKAR6Q8 were launched in September last year. DILKAR8R9HS follows the OE business of Niterra. Furthermore, the DILKAR6Q8 was introduced for a large number of new Toyota applications and the DILFR6N-T is an important addition for Renault applications. Overall, these new references cover important vehicles from Renault (Megane 1.8 RS), Toyota (C-HR 1.8 Hybrid, Corolla 1.8 VVTi Hybrid and various Prius vehicles, including the PHV 1.8 plug-in hybrid model) and Lexus (ES and GS).
The ZFR5BIX was introduced as a precious metal upgrade to the existing ZFR5P-G nickel spark plug, which has been in the NGK range for some time. It covers the Volkswagen Group brands Seat, Skoda and VW.
In addition to the four newly launched spark plugs, Niterra has expanded the range of applications of the existing ILKR7B8 type to include numerous Hyundai i10 and i20 models.
The new additions are expected to cover a vehicle population of almost 210,000 vehicles in the NORDICS region in 2024.
"Once again, we are expanding our already extensive range of NGK precious metal spark plugs to cover even more top models from the world's leading car manufacturers. These new references offer customers outstanding 4-wheel aftermarket products that promise our usual high standards of ignition, performance and high wear resistance," said Thomas Nelles, General Manager DACH & NORDICS at Niterra EMEA GmbH.
These latest additions to the company's product range once again help to strengthen Niterra's impressive aftermarket range of NGK spark plugs and reinforce the company's position as a trusted global aftermarket partner in ignition technologies.
All new products are already listed in TecDoc and will be added to the company's 4-wheel spark plug catalogue.
