NGK SPARK PLUG is pleased to announce the launch of three new spark plugs for marine applications, with one also suitable for 4-wheel vehicles. The three new double precious metal references are pioneering in the Aftermarket and follow the OE business, with outstanding quality, high ignition performance and ignitability as well as high resistance to wear.

As the world’s leading ignition and vehicle electronics specialist, NGK SPARK PLUG prides itself on its ability to provide the perfect ignition component for each and every engine. The launch of these specific spark plugs again demonstrates this goal, further expanding the company’s already comprehensive marine and 4-wheel offer.

‘Laser Iridium’ references ILTR5E11 and IZTR5B11 which have been recently introduced to the market, exclusively cover a wide range of Volvo Penta inboard applications. Reference ILTR5E11 is designed for V6 200, V6 240, V6 280, V8 300 and V8 350 engines in models released from 2012 onwards, with reference IZTR5B11 designed for both 5.0 and 5.7 GM engines manufactured between 1968 – 2007.

‘Laser Iridium’ reference ILKAR7G9, on the other hand, is suitable for both marine and 4-wheel applications. Launched at the end of March 2022, the spark plug is designed for Mercury Marine SeaPro 500HP and Verado 600HP engines released from 2021 onwards. The double precious metal reference also serves the Toyota Yaris passenger vehicle.
