Niterra has renewed and expanded its long-standing technical partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP through a new multi-year agreement, marking a new chapter in a collaboration that has spanned 30 years.

For the first time, NTK oxygen sensors will join NGK spark plugs as part of the technical partnership with Scuderia Ferrari HP in Formula 1. The move marks NTK’s debut at the highest level of international motorsport and represents a significant milestone for the brand.

As part of the expanded agreement, Niterra has also become an official partner of Ferrari Hypercar in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC), where the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans represents one of motorsport's toughest competitive events.

The partnership builds on a relationship that began in 1996 and reflects the shared commitment of both companies to technical excellence, innovation and performance. Through its involvement in Formula 1 and endurance racing, Niterra continuously works to enhance the reliability and durability of its products, since NGK spark plugs and NTK oxygen sensors are engineered to operate under the most demanding operating conditions, including high temperatures, extreme weather conditions, and high-performance environments.

"Extending our partnership with Ferrari and supporting both its Formula 1 and Hypercar underscores our shared commitment to innovation, performance and technical excellence," said Damien Germès, President & CEO of Niterra EMEA GmbH, Regional President EMEA and Corporate Officer of Niterra's Global Headquarters in Japan. "This collaboration accelerates the transfer of technology from the racetrack to the road, delivering tangible benefits to our customers while strengthening the global visibility of our brands."

Niterra looks forward to continuing its successful collaboration with Ferrari and supporting both teams throughout the 2026 season and beyond.
