7. Use of social media plug-ins

(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook.
With this we use the so-called ‘two click solution’. This generally means that when you visit our site initially no personal data will be passed on to the plug-in provider. The plug-in provider can be recognised by the marking above the box with its first letter or logo. We offer the possibility to communicate with the plug-in provider directly via the button. Only when you click on the marked field and activate it through that does the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offer. The data named under 3. in this statement will be transmitted.
In the case of Facebook the IP address is immediately anonymised upon collection according to the instructions of the respective providers in Germany. Activating the plug-in transfers personal data from you to the respective plug-in provider and is saved there (in the USA if it’s a US American provider). As the plug-in provider conducts data collection primarily with cookies, we recommend deleting all cookies before clicking on the greyed out box above the safety settings of your browser.

(2) We have neither influence over the data collected and the data processing procedure, nor do we know the full scope of the data collection, the purposes of the processing or the period of data retention. We also have no information regarding the deletion of data collected by the plug-in provider.

This evaluation takes place, in particular (also for users who are not logged in), to display demand-oriented advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of this user profile; to exercise this right you need to contact the respective plug-in provider. Via the plug-in we offer you the possibility of interacting with social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. Legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is art. 6 para. 1 p.1 lit. f GDPR.

(4) The passing on of information occurs regardless of whether you have an account with the plug-in provider and are logged in there. If you are logged in with the plug-in provider the data collected by us is sent directly to the your existing account with the plug-in provider. If you click on the activated button and link to the page, for example, the plug-in provider also saves this information to your user account and communicates it publicly to your contacts. We recommend that you regularly log out after using a social network, in particular before activating the button so that you can avoid being associated with your profile by the plug-in provider.

(5) You can find further information about the purpose and scope of the data collection and its processing by the plug-in provider in the following data protection statements from this provider. There you can also find more information about your rights regarding this and the settings options to protect your privacy.
