Jason is Niterra’s new man in the North

Ignition and sensor specialist Niterra UK Ltd has appointed Jason Cottam as a Sales Representative in the north of the country.

He is now responsible for an area that includes Humberside, Yorkshire and the North-East of England for the company, owner of the renowned NGK ignition and NTK sensor and vehicle electronic brands.

The 52-year-old, who has joined from Mahle Aftermarket where he was a Regional Sales Manager, has more than twenty years’ experience in the UK automotive aftermarket including twelve years with First Line.

He said: “It has been really good to join such a well-established and respected company. All the team work closely together and have been extremely supportive since I arrived.

“The great thing about the company is that our customers love the products and want to see you and I look forward to meeting all of them in my area and helping to provide them with the parts and back-up service they require.

“The NGK brand is so well known and is used by everyone from horticulturists, for their lawnmowers, to motorcyclists and petrol heads. Basically, if something has a combustion engine then they should fit NGK spark plugs or glow plugs. My experience at Mahle will also enable me to help grow the NTK side of the business.”

Jason, who lives in Beverley in the East Riding of Yorkshire, enjoys home renovation work and is also a motorcycle and football enthusiast.
