Hundreds of visitors were attracted to brand owner Niterra’s stand over the course of the two-day show at the NEC Birmingham where they were keen to learn more about NGK spark plugs which are acclaimed in the horticultural arena for their fast heating which makes them ideal for engines that often work in harsh conditions.
Visitors to the stand could also win a prize by hitting a hole in one on a mini golf putting green that went under the company’s racing tuned MO70 lawnmower. The MO70 was claimed to be the fastest lawnmower over 1/4 mile when it completed the course at Santa Pod Raceway in Northamptonshire in just 9.49 seconds, achieving a top speed of 115.53mph.
The show team cheered many visitors attempting the hole-in-one challenge, and in total 14 victors took away a prize bundle including a limited-edition diary. The team were also kept busy supporting requests for the company’s horticultural catalogue which includes full details of its parts and cross-referencing information.
Becca Knight, Marketing Manager of Niterra UK Ltd, owner of the NGK and NTK vehicle electronic brands, said: “We were delighted to hear similar comments from many guests; NGK is the go-to choice for their business. We certainly made the cut as many visitors grabbed a catalogue and stepped up to the Hole-In-One challenge on the stand.”
