MotoGP

Niterra is an official sponsor for more than half of the 12 teams competing in MotoGP, the world's premier road racing championship. Riders include the current world champion Marc Marquez and the previous multiple championship winner Valentino Rossi. But that’s not all: a total of twelve of the best riders on the planet benefit from the technical support of the world’s number one spark plug brand. Teams supported by Niterra include Monster Energy Yamaha Factory Racing, Petronas Yamaha SRT, Ducati Team, Repsol Honda Team, LCR Honda, Team SUZUKI ECSTAR.

World Superbike Championship

The WSBK Championship features production-based motorcycles with certain modifications. With all major OEMs benefitting from the technical support of the world’s leading plug brand, it comes as no surprise that Niterra’s premium quality products have carried a number of teams to countless championship victories as, for example, three-time world champion Jonathan Rea and his KAWASAKI RACING TEAM WORLDSBK. Besides giving support to Kawasaki, the ignition and sensor specialist is technical partner of the official Pata Yamaha Offical WorldSBK Team and ARUBA.IT RACING - DUCATI.

World Rally Championship

From snow-packed forest tracks to rock-strewn mountain passes, the WRC is without a doubt the most challenging motorsport championship in the world. The extreme conditions prevailing there literally force drivers, cars and material to deliver peak performances. Five-time World Rally Championship winner Sébastien Ogier therefore relies on Niterras to give him a boost and a head start in these rough weather conditions. Besides M-SPORT FORD WORLD RALLY TEAM, Citroën Total World Rally Team also insists on the superior quality delivered by NGK products.

Motocross World Championship

Dust, jumps and cool bikes: the Motocross World Championship (MXGP) is regarded as one of the physically most demanding challenges for athletes and one of the fastest growing motorsport championships in the world. Niterra supports Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing Team. The championship is special in its kind, because the riders have two races at each event.

Speedway World Championship

World-class speedway riders Nicky Pedersen, Tai Woffinden, Emil Sayfutdinov, Fredrik Lindgren, Robert Lambert and Matej Zagar are all NGK Speedkings competing within the FIM World Speedway Championship, as well as their own local teams. The 500cc bikes reach speeds of more than 70 mph with only one single fixed gear and no brakes! NGK UK also have close relationships with up and coming riders Kyle Bickley, two times former Under-16 World Champion, Luke Becker protege of the now retired four times World Champion Greg Hancock whose son Wilbur is also sponsored by NGK UK.
