Nic Hamilton excels in front of brother Lewis

Seven-time World F1 champion Lewis Hamilton was at Donington Park to witness his brother Nic achieve his best-ever performance when he raced at the first British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) event of the 2023 season.

Nic - who is sponsored by Niterra UK Ltd - took sixth place in the second race at Donington Park at the weekend and sits in seventh position in the independent drivers’ category after the first three races.

Lewis said: “I haven't been to Donington in a long time. I was so excited to watch and support my brother there today as a normal spectator, felt really special. I'm so proud of you bro, sixth place today was such a special result and you truly deserve it. Keep pushing Nicolas Hamilton."

Dan Cammish produced a race winning double as the championship got off to a wet and wild start at Donington Park with Hamilton being roared home by spectators, family and his team in what proved to be one of the proudest moments of his incredible story and career.

Nic is supported by Niterra UK Ltd’s NGK igntion brand and drives Team HARD. Racing’s Cupra Leon.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, Niterra UK Ltd, said: “It was a fantastic start to the season by Nic in front of his brother and his many fans which bodes well for the next event at Brands Hatch on May 6 and 7.”

Nic will be on the Niterra stand (E90) at the Automechanika UK show at the NEC Birmingham on Tuesday, June 6.
