Rob Hope joins NGK sales team

Ignition and sensor specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has appointed Rob Hope as a new Sales Representative.

The 46-year-old will cover a sales area that includes parts of Suffolk, Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire.

Rob has held a variety of senior roles over a 27-year career in the automotive industry with his last role being aftersales manager for a Ford dealer.

Prior to that he had spells working for a Nissan main dealer, as a vehicle manufacturer parts manager and area trade parts manager, and for motor factors including Andrew Page.

He said: “I have obviously known of NGK for a very long time. The opportunity to join a company such as this does not come up very often, so I grabbed it with both hands.

“Everyone has made me incredibly welcome; both the sales team and also everyone at head office have been phenomenal. My area is varied and includes four-wheel, two-wheel, all terrain and horticultural customers which is great. I am really looking forward to establishing myself with the company.”

Outside of work Rob, who lives with his partner Sue in Suffolk, enjoys football – he supports Manchester United – and motor racing.

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd is an original equipment (OE) supplier of spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and associated engine management sensors to many of the world’s leading vehicle manufacturers (VMs), with the same components being supplied to the UK and Ireland automotive aftermarket.
