NGK honours staff

Ignition and sensor specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has been honouring its top sales staff.

The supplier of original equipment (OE) spark plugs, glow plugs and NTK Lambda and associated engine management sensors named Paul Gair and Charlie Keable Joint Salesmen of the Year with third place going to Ray Nicholson.

It was an even more special occasion for Ray as he also received a 30-year Long Service Award at the company’s end of year conference as did National Field Sales Manager Stuart Bayne.

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd Managing Director Marko Wowczyna said: “Paul and Charlie’s award was well deserved and their achievement came in a year of very challenging trading conditions. They thoroughly deserved the accolade as they faced stiff competition not only from Ray but also from all the other members of our dedicated sales team.

“I would also like to pay special tribute to Stuart and Ray who have given excellent service to NGK over three decades and have consistently strived to provide the best possible service to our customers.”

The event at St George’s Park, Burton-on-Trent also featured team building exercises including archery, a low ropes course and initiative tasks.
