The Australian followed up his second place for the CFS Filtration No Bull Racing team in the third race of the series at Oulton Park with his first championship victory and a fourth place in the latest two latest rounds at Donington Park.
He said: “I finally got my first win on the weekend. Six years of trying and we finally did it. It’s taken me a while to know what to say, I’m still lost for words. Dreams do come true and we are just at the beginning.”
After winning the first race Elliott had high hopes for a repeat performance in the second round but eventually had to settle for fourth place behind current championship leader Tim Neave.
He added: “P4 in Race 2 and a new lap record, I’ll take that. Felt I had the pace for a lot more but my strategy could do with some work. Always learning, will take it all in to keep improving.
“A huge thank you to everyone around me, it was a big team effort. Absolutely love to see our little team getting stuck in, I’m proud of everyone involved. Thanks all for the support, appreciate so many people reaching out.”
Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager of ignition and sensor specialist NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, said: “Brayden is going from strength to strength and is finally being rewarded for all his hard work with fantastic performances on the track this season.”
