slashesNGK plans to attracts maximum attention at Automechanika Birmingham

Visitors to the company’s stand N170 will have the chance to compete on a virtual reality racing simulator with the person recording the fastest lap time over the three-day show winning the BoxClever Cup and a fantastic voice-controlled electronic Amazon Echo Plus.

In addition, the first 200 garage visitors to the NGK stand will each receive a free LED Pocketstar torch.

NGK will be displaying its soon-to-be released new premium NTK camshaft and crankshaft sensors, ‘5-wire’ Lambda sensors and Mass Air Flow (MAF) and Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensors alongside its original equipment (OE) spark plugs and glow plugs, plus ignition coils, at the show on June 4-6.

Mark Hallam, Marketing Manager, NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd, said: “We are looking forward to welcoming garage visitors on to our stand and telling them about our new components which confirm the NTK electronics brand as the complete, one-stop shop for replacement sensors.

“Our staff will be available to talk to workshops about the full range of our ignition components which they fit daily in their workshops. Plus, there will also be the chance for visitors to receive some fantastic gifts, making it a must-visit event.”

NGK recently enhanced its NTK sensors’ offering with the launch of 20 new wide band Lambda sensors.

The company introduced the new wide band sensors – commonly referred to as ‘5-wire’ Lambda sensors – to supplement its existing range of 64 NTK original equipment (OE) 5-wire sensors.

The launch significantly increased its UK range coverage – particularly for VAG models – and means that NGK now has 5-wire sensors available for almost every vehicle manufacturer who utilises this technology.

NGK is to introduce a range of new premium NTK camshaft and crankshaft sensors in the UK this year. A new European programme, comprising 567-part numbers covering 88 percent of the car parc, equivalent to 270 million cars, was announced at the Automechanika Frankfurt show last year and UK-specific part numbers and vehicle parc coverage will be confirmed shortly.
